Global Changemakers in the Middle East
In collaboration with the British Council and the World Economic Forum, Dan Shapiro and award-winning journalist Mark Huband conducted two trainings for the Global Change Makers, a youth organization. The workshop included eighteen young activists from at least seven Arab countries, the UK, and Israel, and focused on tools to negotiate more effectively. The training also included open discussion about some of the major hurdles to peace in the Arab-Israeli conflict. The first workshop was held in Amman, Jordan. The follow-up session was held at the Dead Sea, Jordan.
 
Global Leadership Fellows Training

The World Economic Forum recently invited Dan Shapiro to teach a 2.5-day workshop in the Swiss Alps as part of a retreat for their Global Leadership Fellows.

World Economic Forum 2009

Team Davos 2009Dan Shapiro, Director of INP, recently participated in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. The theme for 2009 was "Shaping the Post-Crisis World."
